Step 2: Enter your email

Type your email address and click Continue.

That's it for your part. No password to create, no forms to fill out.

Step 3: Check your email for the OTP

We'll send a one-time code to your email. Enter the code when prompted.

Once verified, your account is created and you're logged in.

Why we use OTP instead of passwords

FreeQR uses one-time codes by default because:

• Faster: No password to create or remember
• Safer: No password to lose or leak
• Simpler: Just enter your email, check inbox, done

Each time you log in, you'll receive a fresh code. No stored passwords means nothing to forget or steal.

Want to use a password instead?

If you prefer traditional password login, click login with password at the bottom of the login screen.

We recommend sticking with OTP—it's easier and more secure for most people.

Is FreeQR really free?

Yes. Creating an account costs nothing, and the Free plan includes QR codes, landing pages, and analytics. No credit card required.

What if I don't receive the OTP email?

Check your spam folder. If it's not there, click Resend code to try again. Make sure you entered the correct email address.

Can I switch from OTP to password later?

Yes. You can set up a password in your account settings after logging in.
