The Content component adds text, headings, images, and lists to your landing page. Use it to introduce yourself, describe your business, explain your services, or share any written information.
What Content components do
Content components are the most flexible components in FreeQR. They let you combine different text elements on your page:
Use this when you want to:
- Write an introduction or welcome message
- Describe your products or services
- Share instructions or how-to steps
- Add terms and conditions
- Include event details or agendas
- Add any formatted text with images
How to add a Content component
Step 1: Open your landing page editor
Go to your Dashboard, select your QR code, and click Edit.
Step 2: Add the component
Click the Add component button at the bottom of the editor panel. Select Content from the component menu.
Step 3: Configure header settings (optional)
At the top of the Content component, you can set:

| Title | Section heading displayed above your content |
| Description | Subtitle or brief description below the title |
| Show header | Toggle to show or hide the title and description |
| Wrap content | Toggle to control text wrapping |
Leave these empty if you want your content to appear without a section heading.
Step 4: Add content elements
Click the + button at the bottom of the content area to add elements. Choose from:

Step 5: Edit your content
Click on any element to edit it:
- Text: Type or paste your text directly
- Image: Click Browse to upload an image
- Heading: Enter your heading text
- Lists: Add items one per line
Step 6: Customize elements
Click the menu icon (six dots) on the right side of any element to open its customization options.
Heading options:

Step 7: Reorder elements
To change the order of elements, click the menu icon (six dots) and select Move up. Repeat as needed to position elements where you want them.
Step 8: Save your changes
Click Save to publish your changes. Your content appears on your landing page immediately.
Tips for best results
- Keep paragraphs short. Two to three sentences work best on mobile screens.
- Use headings to break up text. Headings make your content easier to scan.
- Add images between text. Images break up long text and add visual interest.
- Start with the most important info. Put key information at the top.
Common questions
Can I add multiple Content components?
Yes. Add as many Content components as you need. This lets you create distinct sections with different titles.
How do I format text (bold, italic)?
The Content component uses plain text. For emphasis, use headings or separate important points into list items.
What image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images.
Is there a character limit?
There is no strict character limit, but keep your content concise for mobile readability.
Can I reorder Content components?
Yes. Use the drag handle or arrow buttons on the left side of the component to move it up or down relative to other components.
