Update the email address linked to your FreeQR account.
Step 1: Go to My Account
From your Dashboard, click My Account (in your profile icon in the bottom left).
Step 2: Update your email
Find the Email field, enter your new email address, and click Save.
Step 3: Verify your new email
We'll send a one-time code to your new email address. Enter the code to confirm the change.
Once verified, your account is now linked to the new email. Use it the next time you log in.
What changes when you update your email
- Login: You'll use your new email to sign in going forward
- OTP codes: One-time login codes will be sent to your new email
- Notifications: Any account notifications go to your new email
- QR codes and landing pages: Nothing changes. All your content stays exactly as it is.
Common questions
Can I revert to my old email?
Yes. Follow the same steps above and enter your previous email address.
What if I don't have access to my old email anymore?
You can still change your email as long as you're currently logged in. If you're locked out of your account entirely, contact support@freeqr.com for help.
Will my team members be notified?
No. Email changes are private to your account.
Does this affect my billing?
No. Your subscription and payment method are separate from your login email.
