You can update your landing page anytime. Changes go live immediately after you save, without creating a new QR code.
Step 1: Open your Dashboard
Go to freeqr.com and log in to your account. You will see a list of all your QR codes.
Step 2: Select your QR code
Click on the QR code that has the landing page you want to edit. This opens the QR code details page.
Step 3: Click Edit
Find the Edit button and click it. The landing page editor opens with your existing content.
How to edit existing components
Click on any component to expand it and see its settings. Make your changes in the fields provided. The preview on the right updates as you type.

How to reorder components
Change the order of components on your page using these methods:
Drag and drop: Click the drag handle (the dotted icon on the left side of the component) and drag the component up or down.
Arrow buttons: Click the up or down arrows on the left side of the component to move it one position.
How to add new components
Click Add component at the bottom of the editor panel. Select the type of component you want to add from the menu. The new component appears at the bottom of your page. Drag it to your preferred position.
How to delete components
Find the component you want to remove. Click the delete icon (trash can) in the top right corner of the component. The component is removed immediately.
Note: Deleting a component cannot be undone after you save. Use the Undo button before saving if you delete something by mistake.
How to hide components temporarily
If you want to keep a component but not show it on your page:
- Find the component in the editor
- Look for the Status toggle in the top right
- Set it to Inactive
Inactive components stay in your editor but do not appear on the live page. Set them back to Active when you want to show them again.
How to undo changes
Made a mistake? Click the Undo button at the bottom right of the editor panel to reverse your last action. Click Redo to restore it.
Undo works for changes made in the current editing session. Once you save and close the editor, you cannot undo previous changes.
Saving your changes
Click Save when you are done editing. Your changes go live immediately.
Important: Changes are not saved automatically. If you close the editor without saving, your changes are lost.
What happens after you save
Your landing page updates instantly. Anyone who scans your QR code sees the new content right away. You do not need to download a new QR code or update any printed materials.

- Use the collapse feature to focus on one component at a time
- Save regularly if you are making many changes
Common questions
Can I undo changes after saving?
No. Once you save, the previous version is replaced. Make sure you are happy with your changes before saving.
Will editing affect my QR code?
No. Your QR code stays the same. Only the content on the landing page changes.
Can multiple people edit the same landing page?
Team collaboration features depend on your plan. On most plans, one person edits at a time.
