Most people will view your landing page on a phone. Preview it on mobile before sharing your QR code to make sure everything looks right.
Method 1: Use the editor preview
The landing page editor shows a mobile preview on the right side of your screen. This preview updates in real time as you make changes.
What to check:
- Text is readable without zooming
- Images display at the right size
- Buttons are easy to tap
- Spacing looks good between components
Method 2: Scan your QR code
The most accurate way to preview is to scan your actual QR code with a phone.
Step 1: Save your landing page
Make sure you click Save in the editor. Unsaved changes will not appear when you scan.
Step 2: Find your QR code
Go to your Dashboard and click on the QR code. You will see the QR code image on the details page.
Step 3: Scan with your phone
Open your phone's camera and point it at your computer screen. Tap the link that appears to open your landing page.
Method 3: Open the page URL directly
Every landing page has a direct URL you can open on any device.
Step 1: Copy the page URL
In your Dashboard, find your QR code and look for the destination URL. Copy this URL.
Step 2: Open on your phone
Send the URL to your phone (text it to yourself, email it, or use a shared notes app) and open it in your phone's browser.
What to check on mobile
Use this checklist when previewing your landing page:
| Check | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Text readability | Can you read all text without zooming? |
| Image sizing | Do images display clearly without being cut off? |
| Button tapping | Are buttons large enough to tap easily? |
| Link functionality | Do all links work and go to the right places? |
| Scroll length | Is the page too long? Should you remove anything? |
| Loading speed | Does the page load quickly? |
| Form usability | Can you fill out forms easily on mobile? |
Testing on different devices
If possible, test on both iPhone and Android. Also test on different screen sizes:
- Small phone (older models)
- Regular phone (most common)
- Large phone (Plus/Max models)
- Tablet (if relevant for your audience)
Ask a friend or colleague to test on their device if you only have one phone.
Tips for mobile-friendly pages
- Keep text short. Long paragraphs are hard to read on small screens.
- Use large tap targets. Buttons should be easy to tap with a thumb.
- Optimize images. Large images slow down page loading on mobile data.
- Test forms. Make sure form fields are easy to type in on a phone keyboard.
- Check links. Verify all links work and open correctly.
Common questions
The preview looks different from my actual phone
The editor preview is a simulation. For the most accurate test, scan the QR code with a real phone.
My images look blurry on mobile
Upload higher resolution images. Images that look fine on desktop may appear blurry on high-density phone screens.
The page loads slowly on my phone
Large images and many embedded videos can slow down loading. Consider reducing image file sizes or limiting the number of videos.
Can I preview on different devices without owning them?
Browser developer tools let you simulate different screen sizes. In Chrome, press F12, then click the device icon to switch to mobile view.
